The East abounds in great mountains, but Whiteface is truly a special one!  It's HUGE!  At over 3,000' vertical, it's big, steep and craggy and can be a little intimidating,  It is unquestionably one of the best mountains in the region.  It even compares nicely to many of the icons of American skiing and snowboarding in places like Colorado and Utah.  Whiteface is one of those few eastern mountains whose size makes it ski and feel like a Western one.  So, in keeping with our penchant for visiting awesome destinations, we've decided we're heading up to Lake Placid and Whiteface for a few days this March.  Per usual, we've got our usual selection of DVD bargain-bin movies to help pass the time.  We've also got our typical array of salty snacks, including (but not limited to) beef jerky, as well as boxed drinks alleged to have come from coconuts.  We're always fun on these long bus rides and we even do a few convenient pit stops to help break things up a little.  You'll be there before you know it and the memories of the 'Face will keep you grinning all year!

DOWNTOWN Lake Placid lodging at the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort.  Room options are Superior Single and Double Queen hotel rooms.  

Four full-day, all-area lift tickets per person (Contact is for packages without lift tickets if you already have them or if you are a season pass holder).

Through December 8, 2025: Full refund less $500.

December 9, 2025 through January 9, 2026: 50% refund.
